Paragraph Writing
My Favourite Restaurant
There are a lot of restaurants that I enjoy, but my very favourite is Mary Browns. I like Mary Browns because of three reasons. Firstly, I really love the chicken and taters. The chicken is juicy and tasty. I enjoy having taters and gravy on the side. This is one of my favourite treats to have for supper. A second reason why I enjoy Mary Browns is because they serve the best burger in the world. The burger is actually called the Big Mary and it is a chicken burger. I love the crispy batter and the special sauce. It is delicious. Thirdly, Mary Browns is my favourite restaurant because when we have it, it means I do not have to cook or clean up. All I do is quickly go through the drive thru or run inside and order my meal. I can either bring it home to enjoy or sometimes I go inside and eat at their restaurant. This is very convenient. There are a lot of restaurants in Bay Roberts that I enjoy, but Mary Browns is at the top of my list!
A Favourite Hobby

3 Juicy Details:
1. I like to knit all kinds of things like finger puppets, mittens, scarves, and, dishcloths.
2. Every week, my friends and I get together for a knitting social. We laugh, tell, stories, and, of course, knit. It is a great time to relax with special people in my life.
3. Knitting can sometimes get difficult. Once a month I attend a knitting class in St. Johns. Here I learn new things and get to ask questions about a project I am working on.
Closing Sentence:
Knitting is a favourite hobby of mine. It brings me happiness and relaxation. Maybe one day you'll try it for yourself.
My Favourite Keepsake
I have so many toys, gadgets and keepsakes that I use on a regular basis, but I have one item that is really special to me. Today I would like to tell you about my special teddy bear called: Socksy. Socksy is a grey little creature made from knit wool socks. He has two bright blue eyes, a black nose, a red button mouth, and three bright yellow and orange buttons on his belly. He is special to me because when I was five years old, my mother brought it back from Toronto as a special keepsake for me. I slept with him every night and many times my mom had to sew him back together. He now sits on my nightstand as a reminder of when I was a little girl. Having a keepsake or teddy bear can be special no matter how old you are.
Special Person
There are many special people in my life, but there is one person I would like to tell you about. It is my mom. She is special to me because she helps me with my homework every night. She reads with me and helps me figure out words I am not sure of. Another reason why she is special is because she takes care of me when I am sick. She makes me soup, buys me popsicles, and checks my temperature. A mother has many different responsibilities and my mom always brings me back and forth to hockey and basketball practice. Sometimes she has to wait in the car for over an hour and she never complains about it. There are hundreds pf special people all around me and my mom is certainly one of the most important and special.

Ms. Lynch is our main teacher in Grade Three. She has interesting and special centres every day and I love it. We do Math, ipads, Art and, writing. She always sits with us at the red jellybean table and helps us finish our work. The final reason why I love Grade Three is the new building we are
